Walking is a great source of exercise and being in the outdoors and getting fresh air is great for your mental health too. Aside from walking, cycling is the most eco-friendly way to travel. Alternatively, if you aren’t near enough to walk or cycle, you could consider carpooling with your colleagues. Public transport such as buses and trains are also more planet-friendly ways to get to work than driving.

Office plants are a great way to do your bit to help the environment. They release oxygen into the atmosphere and absorb carbon dioxide. Plants are considered a critical resource in sustaining life on earth. And they also have cleansing properties to help the air quality indoors. They have great mental health benefits, too. Taking care of plants will give you something to look after, which may boost your mood. Plus, how nice will your office look with an aesthetic plant on each desk?

 

Community projects 

To give back to your environment, participate in some community projects. For example, rewilding of the office outdoor space not only helps your planet, but it’s also a great bonding experience for the employees. 

 

Reduce emissions 

Reduce your emissions by turning off computers and lights when not in use. As we will tell you, your should be rebooting your PC at least once a week – so why not just turn it off? Not only will this help the environment but it’ll help lower your bills too! Consider getting a smart meter to track your usage and see where you need to make adjustments.
